Hatha classes are typically slow-paced and have a focus on proper alignment.

Vinyasa classes flow through different series of poses at a one breath per movement pace, while hatha classes typically guide practitioners through the same postures but at a slower pace maintaining the postures for several breaths with guidance on how to do each pose purposefully.
